Artist Statement
I am fascinated by things that move.  My objective is to make sculptures that move with beauty and grace using materials in shapes and colors that meet this objective.  My designs are inspired by nature and imagination.  Components are designed to articulate and react to air flow and touch.  The overall effect results in pleasing three dimensional abstract art.

A graduate of Western Michigan University my career was in engineering and manufacturing management.  Although I have always been involved in and enjoyed art and art study my retirement has afforded me more time to devote to the things that most fascinate me.  Among these are oil painting, watercolors, acrylics, and more recently metal sculptures and mobiles.
