As a solitary glass artist living and working in Lexington Michigan, I feel blessed to have the opportunity to do what I do. Immediately after graduating from the College for Creative Studies I embarked on the mission to build my own glass studio. Living here most of my life I feel a strong connection to nature and most influential is Lake Huron, whose waves I hear beating the shoreline as I walk home late at night. The characteristics of the glass best relate me to the life cycle of spontaneous creation. In a short time the glass goes form a molten liquid to a solid in just the same way as I observe the expanse of water through the seasons. I'm proud to state that this is my lifestyle.
